Turaag Active Dhaka 25K - 3rd Edition: Road to Glory

The most prestigious running event in Bangladesh ! Turaag Active Dhaka 25K returns for its electrifying 3rd edition on June 19, 2026 - bigger, bolder, and more exhilarating than ever before. Celebrated as the signature road race of the nation, this internationally recognized event proudly holds AlMS membership and features a World Athletics-certified course, placing Dhaka firmly on the global running map.

The rules for the 3rd Edition

01. Race Categories

Notre: Guardians are typically allowed to run with children in the 3K category but must also register.

02. Official Registration Transfer

  • Complimentary: This service is being introduced as a complimentary (free) feature for this edition.
  • Deadline: Transfers must be completed officially at least one month before the event date.
  • Transfer Scope: Only the Runner’s Name and Age can be transferred.
  • Restrictions: You cannot change the Race Category or the T-shirt Size originally selected during registration.

The Golden Rules of Transfer:

  • Deadline: Must be completed officially at least one month before race day (By May 19, 2026).
  • Details: You can transfer the Name & Age to the new runner.
  • Locked Items: The Race Category (Distance) and T-shirt Size remain as originally registered.
  • Official Only: Only transfers done through our official portal/email will be recognized.

03. Entitlements

Every registered participant will receive:

  • RFID BIB: Professionally timed for accurate results.
  • E-Certificate: Available for download after the race.
  • Post-Race Snacks: Refreshments to help you recover after your run.
  • Finisher Medal: Awarded only to those who cross the finish line within the official cut-off time.

04. Registration Details

To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please keep the following in mind:

  • Early Bird Starts: March 1, 2026.
  • Accurate Data: Ensure your NID/Passport name matches your registration to avoid issues with certificate issuance.
  • Slot Locking: Slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Your registration is only confirmed once payment is successful.
  • Health & Safety: By registering, runners confirm they are physically fit to participate in their chosen distance.
  • No Unofficial Transfers: Any runner found using another person’s BIB without going through the official transfer process will be disqualified.
  • ​No Refunds: Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Transfer Policy: Official transfers are allowed until May 19, 2026. Unofficial BIB swapping is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Cut-off time:
    25K: 4 Hours
    10.3K: 1 Hour 50 Minutes
    3K-Kids: 40 Minutes
  • Finisher Medals: Medals are awarded only to runners who finish their race within the official cut-off time.
  • Event Changes: The organizers reserve the right to modify the route or start time for safety or logistical reasons.

05. Registration Fees:

Early Bird Fees (01-14 March 2026):

25km: 1599 BDT
10.3km: 1499 BDT
3Km: 1199 BDT

Regular Registration Fees:

25km: 1799 BDT
10.3km: 1699 BDT
3km: 1299 BDT

**Guardians may participate in the 3K Kids Run for a fee of 1499 BDT per person.

06. Event Timeline

  • March 1, 2026: Early Bird Registration Opens.
  • March 15, 2026: Regular Registration Opens.
  • May 19, 2026: Deadline for Official Registration Transfers.
  • Kit Expo: 17/18 June (TBD)
  • June 19, 2026: Race Day!

07. Disqualification Criteria

The organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant for:
  1. Using a vehicle or bicycle to cover any part of the course.
  2. Taking shortcuts or deviating from the marked route.
  3. Displaying unsportsmanlike conduct or harassing volunteers/staff.
  4. Participating with someone else’s bib.

08. Race Day & Bib Collection

Bib Display: The official race bib must be worn on the front of the torso and be visible at all times.

No Bib, No Race: Participants without an official bib will not be allowed on the course and are not eligible for medals or timing certificates.

Collection Deadline: Bibs and race kits must be collected during the designated race expo hours. Kits will not be mailed or distributed on the morning of the race unless otherwise stated.
